Several reasons:
(1) AARON'S HOME! :D I'm so excited. This is more exciting than Christmas. =P And that's really saying something. So ... I'm going to go see him Friday-Saturday of this week. I'm quite excited.
(2) The whole schedule thing at work turned out to be nothing! They just accidentally transposed my schedule with another person's on that printout. So I was right, I actually had those days off, and I wasn't supposed to come in to work (well, unless I just felt like it). So I worried myself over nothing. But hey, at least I don't have anything to worry about, and because I went in this morning to talk to my supervisor I just decided to stick around and go ahead and get my four hours in from 9-1. So now I'm done with work for the day. Hooray!
(3) I'm probably going to hang out with Wyatt (not Wyatt that you've met, Ana, a different one) tonight and catch up with him. I don't think I've seen him since December ... it'll be good times.
So yes. This counteracts the Sucky Saturday. Awesome.

See, I started a post about chess taking over my brain again, which is what you commented about. But then before I posted anything I remembered the dream my mom had about me getting a tattoo, so I wrote about that instead. I don't think I published the first post, so in short, what are you talking about?
And as a matter of fact I am seeing checkered tile and beginning chess games in my head.
When I start playing chess a lot, my brain rewires itself so all I think about are chess strategies. All. The. Time.

Also, I had lunch with my cousins yesterday (the cool ones with the band). We talked about Gogol Bordello and--this is so awesome!--apparently my cousins played a show over at Red Blood the same night that Gogol Bordello had their show, and that Aaron (my cousin) knew a guy who knew a guy with GB, and they all met up at Red Blood, and they got to MEET the band.
Oh, also in other news, I just thought I'd let you know that CBB stuff is from tomorrow to Saturday, and all the info is here:

I wish I was going to Abilene today! But my class ends tomorrow, Thursday at noon so I'll be in Abilene around 3:30ish. I won't be able to see you before you go to work, but probably after, if you feel like staying up a little late. We don't really finish unloading everything until about 11pm.....
But it would be SUPER RAD to see you! I dunno you can come to the university apartment or something.
